Structure Fire - Harrington Park Road

On Wednesday, June 8th at approximately 01:53 the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for an outside fire at 21930 Harrington Park Road. The Initial call to the dispatch center was that a large area of woods was on fire. Kent EMS 1-7 arrived on location and found a barn/shed and surrounding vegetation on fire. The incident was upgraded to a structure fire. Engine Tanker 7 arrived on the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire. Chief 7 placed the incident under-control within 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire will be investigated. Kent County units that assisted and responded to the scene were: Kent EMS, Engine Tanker 7, Brush 7, Engine 72, Ambulance 7, and the Kent County Sheriff's Office.
