On Sunday, July 2nd at approximately 05:30 AM, the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for a reported structure fire at 21232 Rock Hall Ave. The Rock Hall Police Department was the first public safety agency to arrive on scene and reported flames and smoke visible. Engine 72 arrived on scene and crews extinguished the fire and contained it to mainly the outside of the rear of the structure. All occupants including the family pet were evacuated immediately and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office. The Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank all the mutual aid companies who made the response and assisted at the scene.
